Coupling Chemistries

All our multiplex assays use as a solid phase micro-particles, called microspheres or beads. With our sophisticated coupling chemistries Microbionix can develop all kinds of multiplex assays. Antibody-, antigen- or cytokine-assays, to name just a few examples of our standard and customized developments.

The decisive step that determines the sensitivity and specificity of our assays is the coupling of a biomolecule (e.g. antigen) to a bead as well as the quality of that biomolecule. Therefore, Microbionix addresses both: With our proprietary coupling chemistries we couple recombinant proteins to beads, thus guaranteeing highest diagnostic efficiency and ensuring accurate and reliable results of the multiplex assay.
