Luminex has invented xMAP-technology, a bead-based platform technology that presents new dimensions of throughput and cost-efficiency. The combination of Luminex xMAP-technology and Microbionix multiplex assay systems enables the analysis of up to 100 diagnostic parameters simultaneously in one microtiter well. This dramatically reduces laboratory costs. Luminex technology is adaptable and easy to use. The technology is ideally suited for high-throughput applications in the fields of medical diagnosis, pharmaceutical screening as well as for other associated disciplines.
